BusyBox Installer installs a working version of BusyBox on your device. BusyBox is needed by several “root” apps and is a useful tool to have. BusyBox installer is simple to use and has a sexy Honeycomb themed UI.
BusyBox installer provides 13 versions of BusyBox. You can also check for updated versions from within the app. Busybox is a small executable that provides Unix tools. It is well known as “The Swiss Army Knife of Embedded Linux”.
BusyBox installer also checks to see if your phone has root access and displays busybox, phone and ROM versions. This should work on all devices but if something doesn’t try another version of BusyBox from within this app.
